HPU will start postgraduate level examinations from Monday
Shimla. Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) will start postgraduate level examinations from Monday. Thousands of students will take the exam at about 40 examination centres. However, the university has already set up 30 examination centers and some more centers can be set up in Shimla city once the process of generating roll numbers is completed.
This information will be provided to the concerned students. This time the examinations are starting on time as compared to the last session. Last time the examinations could not start on time and these examinations were held in the month of February after the winter vacation, but this time the university administration has been successful in starting the examinations on time. In view of this, the schedule of academic sessions and examinations will be completely back on track during the next academic session 2024-25.
During the Corona period, the academic calendar of Himachal Pradesh University along with various educational institutions of the country had deteriorated but now it is almost back on track. Winter vacation will start in Himachal Pradesh University from January 1. The holiday will last till 18 February. However, those whose examinations will be held on or after January 1 will stay in the university and the remaining students can leave for their homes.
After the roll numbers/admit cards of the students appearing in the examinations of post graduate level courses were generated wrongly, on Saturday the students again got busy in generating their roll numbers/admit cards. The university administration once again appealed to the students whose roll numbers have been generated wrongly to immediately go to their respective login IDs and generate the roll numbers/admit cards again.
