HRTC earned Rs 49 lakh from special buses
Dharmshala. HRTC division Dharamshala has earned around Rs 50 lakh from special buses during the festival season including Diwali-Bhaiyya Dooj and others. The corporation has earned more than Rs 35 lakh from 107 buses that ran from Delhi and Chandigarh to seven depots of Mandal Dharamshala on 10th and 11th November. At the same time, the corporation’s income has increased by lakhs from the special buses sent to Bhaiyaduj and thereafter to outside states, in which Rs 13 lakh 74 thousand 150 has been earned. Under Mandal Dharamshala, on 10th and 11th November, for the convenience of the people, HRTC had run 107 buses from Delhi and Chandigarh.
These 107 buses covered 71,834 kilometers in two days and earned Rs 35,62,181. Most of the buses were run from Delhi and Chandigarh to Palampur and Nagrota Bagwan. Himachal Road Transport Corporation has earned Rs 49.59 per kilometer from these buses. Himachal Road Transport Corporation Division Dharamshala DM Pankaj Chadha said that on Diwali, 107 special buses were run from Delhi and Chandigarh to Kangra and Chamba districts as per the convenience of the passengers. The corporation has earned more than Rs 35 lakh from these. The corporation’s income also increased due to the special buses sent on Bhaiya Dooj. Earning of Rs 1374150 has been done.
