Hundreds of women stood in front of minister Ram Vichar Netam’s convoy, tried to take him hostage

Korba. Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam has been held hostage by about 500 women in the district. Minister Netam had reached Korba to attend a social program. It is being told that Flora Max Company has defrauded all the women of about Rs 500 crore. The matter is of Civil Line police station area. The women stopped the minister’s convoy at the venue itself. The women say that until their problems are resolved, they will not let the minister leave from here. The women are demanding immediate solution to the pending problems and issues related to the Flora Max case.

In fact, in 2022, Flora Max Company got lucrative business loans from the bank to the members of the women’s group. The company had promised that it would deposit the loan installments itself, but after some time the company stopped paying the loan installments.

Meanwhile, some people associated with the company absconded with crores of rupees. The company was also closed. Now the bank people are pressurizing the women to recover the loan, due to which they are constantly protesting by blocking the roads.
