Husband brutally murdered his wife, accused arrested

bhatapara : Within a few hours, the police arrested the husband for the crime of strangulating his wife to death due to a fight. According to the police, the applicant Naresh Jaiswal, resident of Nehru Ward, Bhatapara, came to the police station on 28th November and lodged a report that on 27th November, his elder brother Prabhulal Jaiswal came back from work at around 6 pm, after which elder brother Prabhulal Jaiswal and sister-in-law Saraswati Jaiswal. There was a fight between them over some issue. During the dispute, at around 11.40 pm, seeing the dispute taking place between elder brother Prabhulal and sister-in-law Saraswati Jaiswal, due to fear he ran out of the house along with his family.

After some time, elder brother Prabhulal Jaiswal called me on 12/30 night and told me that a scuffle started between your sister-in-law Saraswati and me, due to which I pressed the throat of your sister-in-law Saraswati hard with both my hands, due to which she fell on the ground. He is not breathing. Then I went and saw that sister-in-law Saraswati was lying unconscious in the living room of the house. Based on the report that the sister-in-law was strangled to death, a crime was registered and taken up for investigation. During the investigation, Prabhulal Jaiswal was taken into police custody and interrogated, who admitted to committing the crime. Accused Prabhulal Jaiswal (48) was arrested on November 28 and sent to judicial remand after Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was found against him.
