Husband gang-raped wife by tying her to a peg, 1 arrested

Araria (IANS). An incident of shame to humanity has come to light in Narpatganj police station area of Araria district of Bihar, where miscreants tied the husband to a peg and gang-raped his wife in front of him.

Police has arrested an accused in this case. According to the police, the 31-year-old victim has alleged that around midnight on Saturday when all of us were sleeping, some youths from the village rang the door of the house. The husband was asking who is inside the house when three youths entered the house by breaking the door.

After this, both the husband and wife were beaten up and on protesting, the husband was tied to a peg with a rope. It is alleged that when the miscreants were not satisfied even with this, the three youths gang-raped the woman. Hearing the noise made by the woman, when the nearby villagers reached, the youths started running.

It is being told that the villagers ran and caught one of the accused. According to a police official, an FIR has been registered in the police station in the gang rape case. While taking action, the police arrested one of the accused involved in the incident, Raja Kusiet. Continuous raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining two accused involved in the incident.
