Husband wanted to sell the house, murdered his wife when she refused
Bemetara. After a dispute between husband and wife in Dhaurabhata of the district, the husband killed the wife by throwing a stone on her head. Police is interrogating the accused husband in custody.
According to the information received from the police, 51-year-old Kripa Barle had a dispute with his wife Kavita yesterday morning while taking bath in the village pond in Dhaurabhatha village of Saja police station area. After this, in a fit of rage, Kripa Ram killed his wife by stoning her on the head near the ghat in the pond itself. As soon as the police got the information about the incident, station in-charge Vivek Patle along with his staff reached the spot, till then the accused escaped from the spot and was hiding by running towards Thankamhariya road.
On the basis of information, the police reached the spot and took the accused into custody. Station in-charge Patle said that Kripa Barle told during interrogation that he was troubled by his wife’s illness, about which the two had a conversation. The husband of the deceased has been taken into custody by the police and is being interrogated. In the case, the police prepared the panchnama of the dead body on the spot and sent it to Saja Hospital for PM. After PMing the dead body here, it has been handed over to the relatives.
It is said that the accused was pressurizing his wife to sell the house, but the deceased was not ready to sell the house, due to which there was tension between the two. Information has come to the fore about repeated disputes regarding the amount spent for the treatment of the deceased. However, the reason behind the murder is being said by the police to come out in the deliberation itself.
