Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Allu Arjun will appear virtually in the Nampally Court on Friday, December 27, as his 14-day judicial custody comes to an end. The move comes after his arrest in connection with a tragic stampede incident that took place during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4. The stampede led to the death of a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, and severely injured her 13-year-old son, Sritej. Allu Arjun’s legal team has requested that he be allowed to attend the court proceedings online instead of appearing in person. The presiding judge accepted the request and allowed the actor to participate virtually. The decision comes after the Telangana High Court earlier granted him interim bail in the case, which his lawyer will inform the Nampally court today.
