Hyderabad-based Cyient partners with Japanese eVTOL aircraft makers Skydrive

Hyderabad: City-headquartered technology and engineering solutions company Cyient on Friday announced that it has signed an MoU with Skydrive Inc., a leading Japanese company that manufactures electric launch and landing vertical aircraft (eVTOL).

As per the MOU, both the companies have agreed to work in partnership in the development of products, engineering, manufacturing and digital services.

Speaking after the signing of the MoU, Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy, Founder Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors, Cyient, said: “Designed in India, it has the potential to contribute to the future of urban air mobility (UAM) globally. There is immense potential. level. By joining forces with Cyient, Skydrive has the opportunity to tap into India’s engineering ecosystem, which is rich in talent, innovation and technology. “This collaboration will allow Skydrive to address the global urban air mobility (UAM) market, including India.”
