Hyderabad: DCM Vehicle Hits Scooty, Woman Dies
A DCM vehicle created havoc in Madhapur, Hyderabad. It hit a scooty and dragged it for 5 kilometers. In this incident, a woman died and another was seriously injured. The video related to this has now gone viral on social media.
Going into details.. Haniya Ayesha (22) and Abdul Basit, a couple from Kerala, came to Hyderabad to earn a living. They live near Maheshwaram and work at Malabar Jewelry Shop. On Saturday evening, the couple, who completed their duties as usual, did some shopping and left for home. In this process, a DCM hit their scooty near Madhapur Mind Space.
The DCM van did not stop even though it was being dragged under the tires of the scooter. After going for five kilometers, locals noticed it and stopped the DCM. The driver fled from there. The locals caught the cleaner and beat him up. Later, he was handed over to the police.
Meanwhile, the couple, who were seriously injured in the incident, were immediately rushed to the hospital. But the doctors declared Ayesha dead. Abdul Basit’s condition is said to be critical. Madhapur police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Ayesha’s body has been shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem.
