Hyderabad: Man arrested for vehicle theft, 3 stolen vehicles recovered

Hyderabad: The Tappachabutra police on Monday, December 30, arrested a vehicle theft offender who was allegedly involved in three earlier cases and recovered three stolen vehicles from him. The accused, Mohammed Aamer, 19, hails from Jhira in Mehdipatnam.

According to the Tappachabutra Station House Officer, Aamer used to roam around in various areas and identify vehicles parked at isolated places. When he got an opportunity, he broke open the lock of the vehicle and stole it.

Aamer was finally nabbed after a man lodged a complaint about his Activa being stolen. During interrogation, Aamer confessed to stealing three more vehicles from various police stations across the city.
