Hyderabad: Nampally exhibition welcomes transgender and gay artisans
Hyderabad: In a historic movement, Nampally’s Industrial Exhibition International inaugurated two stands presenting the creative works of transgender and gay artisans, marking an important step towards inclusion and recognition.
In posts 15 and 16, artisans Padala Nandini, Golapalli Kiran Raj and Sonam displayed their hand-made jute bags and shawls. According to a statement, the artisans thanked Banco de Development de Small Industries de la India (SIDBI) for sponsoring space for their posts at Mandap Swavalamban.
