Hyderabad News: ACB arrested government official in draft case
Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Monday arrested K. Venkat Narsi Reddy, Assistant Director of District Industries Centre at Integrated Collectorate Office at Medchal-Malkajgiri for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 45,000.
Venkat Narsi Reddy demanded the bribe from the complainant of Kukatpalli to inspect the tipper vehicle purchased under the scheme of TSPRIDE (Telangana State Programme for Rapid Incubation of Dalit Entrepreneurs Incentive Scheme) and submit a report to higher authorities for sanction of incentives under the said scheme. Minister’s OSD arrested in sheep distribution scam The tainted official was produced before the Special Court for ACB cases in Hyderabad for remand in judicial custody. The case is under investigation.
