Hyderabad news: Section 144 imposed near Lok Sabha counting centers

Hyderabad: In view of the counting of votes and declaration of results of Lok Sabha elections, Section 144 of CrPC has been imposed within a radius of 200 metres near the counting centres. In this regard, city police commissioner K. Srinivas Reddy has issued orders, which will be in force from 6 am on June 4 to 6 am on June 5.
Section 144 (Power to issue orders in urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger) prohibits the assembly of five or more persons within the said radius near the counting centres.
