Hyderabad news: Woman murdered in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 34-year-old woman was found murdered in her house in Balaram Nagar in Safilguda on Monday. The victim, Madhavi Latha (34), a mother of three children, was living in the penthouse of a multi-storey building. Police suspect that the victim may have been killed by people known to her following a dispute. “After a heated argument, one or multiple assailants may have attacked her. She suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot,” police said. The assailants fled the spot, they said.

Following the commotion, neighbours informed the Neredmet police, who registered a case of murder and said efforts were on to identify and nab the killers. All possible angles, including an extramarital affair, were being investigated, police said. The body has been sent to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.
