Hyderabad nwes: Radha Kishan Rao gets interim bail

Hyderabad: A local court on Monday granted interim bail to jailed former task force DCP and phone tapping case suspect P. Radha Kishan Rao after his mother Sarojini Devi passed away. Sarojini Devi (98) was suffering from health issues and passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karimnagar.

After her death, Radhakishan Rao filed an emergency petition in the court seeking interim bail to attend the funeral. Hearing the petition, the court granted him one-day bail till 6 pm on Tuesday.Radhakishan Rao, who is suspected to be behind bars over the timing of the confessions of officials in the alleged phone tapping case, is currently lodged in the central prison in Chanchalguda.
