Hyderabad: Passenger stuck between platform and train dies

Hyderabad: A passenger died after he accidentally slipped and fell while trying to board a moving train at Secunderabad railway station on Friday. He got stuck between the train and the platform. The incident occurred when Pawan Kumar (30), a resident of Jharkhand, was waiting to board the Danapur Express on platform number 8. He slipped and fell between the platform and the train while trying to board the train. The man was dragged along with the express train for some distance after which alert passengers, RPF and railway officials stopped the train and took rescue measures. The passenger was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The Secunderabad Government Railway Police is investigating the matter.
