Hyderabad to host festival celebrating tribal and Dalit art and literature

Hyderabad: A cultural fest is gearing up to host ‘Cadalfest Sambooram’, an event dedicated to “celebrating tribal and Dalit arts and literature”. The festival is scheduled to be held at the Universidad Potti Sriramulu Telugu in Nampally on 15 and 16 December. The two-day event will include performances, round tables, exhibitions, readings, film projections and dialogues to share research, celebrate marginalized acting traditions and explore inclusive forms of mutual learning. Mini magazines, popular culture and many lives from the archives are the main elements that recur throughout the two-day event. Coordinated by draw.
