I want to give the right message to the new generation through ‘Shiv Shakti’: Siddharth Tiwari

New Delhi (IANS). Siddharth Kumar Tiwari, creator and producer of the show ‘Shiv Shakti-Tapa Tyag Tandav’, says that he wants the story to give the right message to the new generation, and help them understand our roots.

The show brilliantly depicts the first love story of Lord Shiva and Goddess Sati. While the mythological tale of love has inspired the audience and reaffirmed their faith, it is time for them to witness the poignant moment of Sati Dahan.

Capturing the essence of Sati Dahan has been a significant challenge for the makers of the show due to its intense emotions. However, their dedication and artistry promise to bring to life the saga of love and sacrifice that changed the course of history.

In the ensuing story, Sati’s father Daksha invites all the great gods except Shiva and Sati during a Mahayagya. Sati comes to the yagya uninvited and thinks that she will meet her father and not the king.

Daksha in his arrogance not only insulted Shiva but also insulted his daughter Sati as a wife and woman. This leads to a heart-wrenching incident – Sati Dahan. After Sati commits self-immolation using yogic power, Shiva expresses his grief through Tandava.

Talking about the ‘Sati Dahan’ sequence, Siddharth of Swastik Productions said, “I thank our viewers for the love showered on ‘Shiv Shakti – Tapa Tyaag Tandav’, and I would like to share what I consider to be the universe’s first love story. Admittedly, adopting his interpretation wholeheartedly. The Sati Dahan story has played an important role in our culture and society for centuries, and we need to understand the core message of the story. It should be interpreted and portrayed as So that our viewers get a positive message.”

He added, “I am also thankful to our creative team, writers, music, VFX, directors and above all, our actors who have given their best performance till date, brought the sequence to life and created the desired impact. It is believed that all this is happening with the blessings of Mahadev.

I really wish that this story gives the right message to our new generation and helps them to understand and be proud of our roots.”

‘Shiv Shakti – Tapa Tyag Tandav’ airs on Colors.
