IAS officer posted in Bilaspur SIMS, will handle management responsibilities

Raipur: Acting today on the orders of Bilaspur High Court, the state government appointed 2004 batch secretary level IAS R Prasanna as OSD of SIMS. Prasanna has been Health Secretary twice. Also the director of the health department. He has been the surveyor of the entire health system of the state. Now whether it is his hard luck or the effect of the High Court’s taunt that he has been given the command of only one medical college hospital. They will have to stay in Bilaspur for 15 days to fix the SIMs. After this the High Court will also hear and issue orders.

Let us tell you that on October 31, angry with the irregularities in SIMS, Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha of Bilaspur High Court had ordered the posting of a full-time IAS officer there. The court asked the Advocate General to talk to the Chief Secretary and ensure immediate posting of the IAS officer in SIMS.
