IAS Renu Pillay now posted in National Commission for Scheduled Castes

Raipur. IAS Renu Pillay of Chhattisgarh cadre is going to go on central deputation. The Appointments Committee of the Central Government has approved his posting in the National Commission for Scheduled Castes. She will perform the responsibility of the secretary of the commission. She will assume this responsibility after the retirement of Sikkim batch IAS Upma Srivastava on July 31, 2023.

Renu Pillay, IAS of 1991 batch, is currently ACS in the Health Department. He has the responsibility of Director General of the Academy of Medical Education, Information & Technology and Administration. After Renu goes on deputation, only Subrata Sahu will remain ACS. Renu Pillay’s retirement is in 2028. At the same time, her husband IPS Sanjay Pillay will retire in July this year. He is the jail DG.
