IED blast happened, villagers believe – Naxalites were doing plant

Kanker. A day before the Independence Day, the villagers are in panic due to the sound of a loud explosion in the forests of Alparas in Koylibeda, a very naxal-affected area. While the villagers are calling it an ID blast, the police officers are asking to say something only after investigation. At present, Kanker SP Divyang Patel has sent a police team to investigate the blast site. SP Kanker has said that the situation regarding the blast will be clear only after the completion of the investigation.

Villagers have claimed IED blast in Alparas of Koylibeda area. It is feared that the Naxalites would be planting the IED and during that time it would explode. According to the villagers, if the ID would have been cracked, then the Naxalites must have suffered a loss. SP Divyang Patel said that information has been received through the villagers. Due to the Naxalite affected area, a party of jawans has been taken out from the nearby camps. The villagers are talking about the sound of an explosion. The situation will be clear only after the party returns from the spot.
