New Delhi: With his hands removed from the handles and not even wearing a helmet… Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary was seen riding a bike in a similar manner on Sunday. The video of the Congress leader driving a bike went viral on social media and he was accused of ignoring road safety. It is being told that this video is from Berhampur, West Bengal. Adhir Ranjan said that he has many memories associated with this place. He said, ‘If the police imposes a fine on me then there is no problem. But, there was no one there where I was riding the bike.
Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary is the MP from Berhampur. He had reached here today for the inauguration program of the bypass road. In the viral video, the Congress MP can be seen driving a Royal Enfield with his companion sitting behind it. Along with Adhir, his convoy is also seen moving along with him on the bike. There are only a few people among them who are wearing helmets. Adhir Ranjan is wearing a cap. Congress leaders are seen enjoying bike driving a lot. He has a smile on his face and is also cheering. At one point, he lifts both his hands from the handle of the bike and adjusts his cap.
According to the report, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary decided to go by bike to reach the inauguration program. He covered a distance of about 11 kilometers from Royal Enfield. There were people on the side of the road on which the Congress leader was riding his motorcycle, whom he also greeted. It is noteworthy that Adhir Chaudhary is often seen surrounded in controversies. During the last monsoon session of Parliament, he had strongly criticized PM Modi on the Manipur issue, for which he was suspended on charges of misconduct. Later, in his clarification, Adhir said that he did not insult PM Modi and merely used a word which meant keeping quiet. However, his suspension was revoked after he appeared before the privilege panel and recorded his statement.
