Immediately ban the registry of illegal colonies and plotting, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma gave instructions
Raipur. Chhattisgarh Government’s Revenue and Disaster Management and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankram Verma today conducted a detailed review of the functioning of various departments of the district at the Joint District Office Balodabazar Bhatapara. Verma got introduced to all the officers present in the meeting. In this meeting which lasted for about 3 and a half hours, he gave instructions to the Collector to immediately stop the ongoing illegal colony construction and its plotting registry in the district. While reviewing the Revenue Department, Shri Verma asked to resolve all the pending revenue cases within the stipulated time limit.
Verma said that health, education and drinking water are our first priorities in the district. Verma instructed the CHMO and Civil Surgeon to improve the health facilities in the district. Verma instructed the Superintendent of Police to take strict action against illegal liquor sale, betting and drug addiction. He talked about motivating people to wear helmets to protect themselves from road accidents.
Collector Chandan Kumar assured the minister that in the coming days, the pending revenue issues will be resolved by making an action plan. Similarly, Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Jha also assured that the police department will take continuous action against illegal liquor sale, betting and drug addiction.
