Important to choose films based on the merit of the script: Katrina Kaif
Mumbai: Bollywood star Katrina Kaif says she follows her conscience while choosing a script rather than falling into the trap of repeating herself.
In her two decade long journey in films, Katrina has cemented her position as one of the most successful female stars in the Hindi film industry. Some of his notable films are ‘Tiger’ franchise, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, ‘Bharat’, ‘Phantom’, ‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Namaste London’.
“It is important for all of us as actors to focus only on the script and the film. “As long as we don’t fall into the trap of repeating ourselves and instinctively do what we feel… If it’s an action film, it’s great, or a comedy is good too,” Katrina told PTI. Interview.
“It is important to select films based on the merit of the script and what connects with you at that moment. You have to believe in it and you have to go out there and give your 1000 percent and be on the set with that same conviction. Then the rest depends on God whether it connects with the audience or not.”
The 40-year-old said that she is a self-critical person and often looks for ways to improve herself.
“I’m always, in my mind, thinking too much. I overthink about a lot of things. So, I’m always looking for ways I can make myself better for the next time, or I How can I give something more to the role? It’s self-improvement,” she said.
Buoyed by the success of ‘Tiger 3’, which has earned over Rs 447 crore at the global box office, Katrina expressed her gratitude to the public for their love and support.
The third part of Salman Khan’s franchise, which released on November 12, is directed by Manish Sharma of “Fan” fame.
“The love and support of the audience is what allows us to keep making these films. The ‘Tiger’ franchise has been an important part of our lives for the last 11 years. Whenever the time comes to do another ‘Tiger’ film, it will be very It’s thrilling.” It’s an exciting time for me and we’re very much looking forward to it,” said the actor.
Having worked together in over half a dozen films including ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, ‘Partner’ and ‘Bharat’, Katrina said she and Salman are aware of each other’s process as actors.
“When we are on the set, Salman is constantly thinking, he is thinking about the scene and trying to brainstorm it. We have worked together in many films, you see that person. You can read them, you can get to know them. Also, this tuning is very beneficial for how it appears on the screen,” he said.
‘Tiger 3’ is backed by Yash Raj Films (YRF). The film is a part of the studio’s espionage universe, which also includes Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’.
