Income Tax Department is raiding 4 businessmen, read updates

Raipur. Income Tax has started raiding 4 business groups in the capital and Bilaspur. Investigation is going on in steel, coal businessman, Ramavatar Agarwal, railway contractor and Vandana Group of Raipur. Among these, Satya Power Bilaspur’s steel and coal business. Owners of Satya Power, Ramavatar Agarwal, Pawan Agarwal, Shrikant Verma Marg’s house and office at Hansa Vihar, along with the plant at Bharari (Ratanpur), have been raided. In Bilaspur itself, Sushil Jhajhadia railway contractor at Jagmal Chowk and Vandana Global Raipur are included. All of them have business relations with each other. A large team of 100 officers is investigating in more than 20 vehicles. All the 100 officers in the team are from other states. The team has arrived to take action on the complaint of money laundering including disproportionate assets, tax evasion. As per the initial information, the team surrounded the hideouts of the Agarwal family even before they could wake up. Even before their recovery, the investigation has started. Let us tell you that Satya Power Company, apart from road construction, also works in steel and energy construction apart from coal beneficiation. Income tax had raided about two years ago as well. There is a complaint of tax evasion along with earning disproportionate assets on the operators. The group where the raid is going on includes Satya Power Bilaspur, Vandana Global Group, Raipur, Jhajharia Group, Bilaspur and Ishwar TMT Group, Raipur.
