It is said that due to the shock of this defeat, a young man in Bankura district of West Bengal committed suicide. It is noteworthy that the World Cup final match between India and Australia was played in Ahmedabad. Here Australia won the toss and invited India to bat. The name of the youth who sacrificed his life in Bankura was Rahul Lohar and his age was 23 years. He earned his living by doing small jobs. It is said that he was a big fan of cricket. The youth’s brother-in-law Uttam Sur told that he loved the team more than himself. After India’s defeat to Australia, he became very upset and committed suicide at around 11 pm. He told that Rahul had not even gone to work on the day of the match and was watching the match on the projector. According to the youth’s brother-in-law, there was no one at home when this incident occurred.

Uttam told that as soon as I came to know about the incident, I immediately reached his house. There it was learned that he had been taken to the Primary Health Center of Beliater. He was declared dead there. When his younger brother, who often stayed with him, reached home, he found him hanging. He told that the youth’s mother lives in another house. At the same time, the police has not made any comment on the incident. However, a case of unnatural death has been registered. According to police sources, there are no suspects in the case at present.
