Instagram user named Garib Badshah arrested

Korba: Kishanlal Sao, a resident of Village Tilkeja under Urga police station of the district, has lodged a complaint against Hazrat Ali, a resident of Village Nonbirra under Kartala police station area. Kishanlal alleged that Hazrat Ali posted an objectionable post against RSS on Instagram on May 18, 2024, which hurt the sentiments of Hindu society along with the possibility of spreading religious frenzy.

On Kishanlal’s complaint, the police registered a crime against Hazrat Ali under sections 295A and 505 (1) (B) at Urga police station. Hazrat Ali, who runs an Instagram ID named “Gareeb Badshah” on social media, was arrested by the police and produced in the court, from where he has been sent to jail.
