Instructions for challan action against those who do not follow traffic rules

Bilaspur. The disregard for traffic rules in the district is so great that 1.23 lakh people broke traffic rules on Sunday. People ignoring traffic rules are being monitored through the Integrated Traffic Management System in the city. But due to non-delivery of challan to those breaking the rules, drivers remain careless. Here officials say that soon the entire system will be operational and disciplinary action will be taken against those who break the rules.

Bilaspur Smart City Limited has given the contract of ITMS project to Tata Advanced System Limited. Along with installing the cameras, the company has to maintain the project for 5 years. Traffic police and other department personnel have been given training for operations. They are sitting in the ICCC building and monitoring the CCTV cameras regularly.
