Instructions for strict checking in railway stations
Raigarh. Expenditure observers Mr. Omprakash and Mr. P. Sugendran, appointed by the Election Commission of India for the four assemblies of the district, today held an important meeting of the nodal officers of the enforcement agency regarding expenditure monitoring and action in the district in the Srijan meeting room of the Collectorate. In which he reviewed the proceedings so far and gave guidelines regarding the upcoming action plan.
Additional Collector and Deputy District Election Officer Rajiv Pandey was also present on this occasion. In the meeting, Expenditure Observer Omprakash instructed the nodal officers of the enforcement agency engaged in expenditure monitoring work to bring progress in the expenditure monitoring proceedings. Along with this, he said that the attached departments should coordinate with each other and check the permission for organized meetings and other events, so that the expenses of the concerned party can be controlled. During this, while reviewing department-wise work, he took information about the Excise Department, their check posts and informers.
He said that while working in active mode in all the check posts, keep an eye on liquor smuggling. Along with this, provide information about the sales. He instructed the static monitoring team to regularly and intensively check the vehicles. Carefully inspect suspicious vehicles and vehicles through which there is a possibility of any type of illegal transportation. He instructed the GRP to keep special vigil on all the stations as well as the trains coming from Odisha.
He directed CG GST to investigate after taking information about the warehouse located in the district and also directed the Income Tax Department to ensure action. During this, expenditure observers instructed FST, SST and VST to bring progress in the works. He said that if any seizure action is taken, information should be provided immediately. He instructed to deploy force along with barricades for speed control to check vehicles.
