Intoxicant injections worth lakhs seized, police took major action

Jabalpur. Crime Branch and Kotwali police caught a big supplier of drug injections. Neeraj Pariyani, the operator of MN Pharma located at Money Plaza of Badi Omati, used to do the business of injecting drugs in the city. Neeraj had also taken a rented godown to stock the drug injections. At the instance of the accused, the police team seized seven thousand four hundred pieces of intoxicant injection worth eight lakh rupees. These days the business of injecting drugs is spreading in the streets of Jabalpur. In this regard, Superintendent of Police Tushar Kant Vidyarti told that Neeraj Pariyani has been arrested by Belbagh and Raju Vishwakarma by Ghamapur police in the case of selling drug injections in the past. The Superintendent of Police said that a team of Crime Branch’s ASI Ashok Mishra, Virendra Singh, Constable Amit Srivastava and Manas Upadhyay, along with others, caught Rakesh Vishwakarma alias Raju, a resident of Lalmati near Gopalbagh Talaiya. The team seized two hundred injections of drugs from his possession. When questioned by the police, he told that these injections were given to him for sale by Neeraj Pariyani, the director of MM Pharma. In lieu of selling drug injections, he used to get thirty thousand rupees per month from Neeraj. The police caught Neeraj Pariyani, resident of Ranjhi Narsingh Mandir, director of MM Pharma, only after getting information about drug injection. Questioned. So he accepted the point of doing the business of injecting drugs. During investigation, he told that he has rented the house of Sameer Gupta, a resident of Anand Colony, where he has kept a godown of drug injections. As soon as this was known, the police team raided Goda, then seven thousand 200 pieces of intoxicant injections were found there. The police produced both the accused in the court on Saturday, from where both were sent on police remand. SP Vidyarthi said that on July 21, Ranjhi police arrested Bada Patthar residents Akash Sonkar, Raj Sonkar and Akash Chaudhary with 164 drug injections, on July 22, Belbagh police arrested Ranital Marghatai residents Ritesh Tiwari and Ravi Tiwari with 345 drug injections. Adhartal police arrested Adhartal resident Rahul Jharia with 12 injections and seven bottles of syrup, Gorakhpur police arrested Gwarighat residents Surendra Soni and Rahul Vinodia with 62 intoxicant injections and Sanjivani Nagar police Jogi Mohalla residents Arun Ben and Badshah Chauhan 44 and Ganga Nagar resident Abhash Namdev has been arrested and 20 injections of drugs have been seized.
