iPhone 15 Pro Max broke record
iPhone 15: The iPhone 15 Pro Max is seeing strong demand after becoming available for pre-order last week. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is higher than the demand for the iPhone 14 Pro Max during the same period last year. He claimed that the demand for iPhone 15 Pro is so far less than that of iPhone 14 Pro, which he attributes to more customers choosing the Pro Max model this year.
“As previously expected, demand for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is strong, surpassing last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max,” Kuo wrote in a post on Medium on Sunday. Additionally, Kuo reiterated that the iPhone 15 Pro Max entered mass production later than other iPhone 15 series devices, which led to the device’s long shipping delays. “The current iPhone 15 Pro Max shipments are lower due to the latter’s mass production schedule, and its current production challenges are more obvious than other models,” he said.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has an upgraded telephoto lens with up to 5X optical zoom, while the iPhone 15 Pro has up to 3X zoom. In India, the iPhone 15 Pro price starts at Rs 1,34,900 and is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1 terabyte storage capacities. Whereas, the price of iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,59,900 and is available in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 terabyte storage capacities.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage capacities, with prices starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900, respectively. According to Kuo, demand for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus has become “almost equal” to that of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus after the same period. All four iPhone 15 models will be available for sale starting September 22.
