It is necessary for citizens to update Aadhaar cards made eight to ten years ago

Nuh. Nuh November Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata said that the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the date of free Aadhaar card updation to 14 December 2023 in public interest. He has called upon the general public to update their Aadhaar card made eight to ten years ago for free on the UIDAI portal by December 14, 2023. To update Aadhar card online, the Aadhar card holder will not have to pay any kind of fee. He said that those people in the district who have not updated their Aadhaar card in the last eight or ten years will have to upload their residential certificate and their identity card online to get their Aadhaar card updated.

The Deputy Commissioner said that Aadhaar card holders can avail Aadhaar online services from My Aadhaar portal, while the list of documents acceptable as proof of identity and proof of address is also available in My Aadhaar App. He has called upon the residents of the district to update their Aadhaar cards by taking advantage of this free service and has also advised them to keep their mobile numbers updated in Aadhaar to avail online services. He said that it is necessary for common citizens to update Aadhaar which was made eight to ten years ago.
