IT Minister seeks nuisance letter against Naidu
Visakhapatnam: IT and industries minister Gudivada Amarnath demanded opening of a rowdy sheet against TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who, he alleged, was the mastermind behind the recent Punganur violence. Addressing the media here on Tuesday, the minister alleged that the TDP leaders had already planned the Punganur attack. Describing the incident as a vicious attack, Amarnath said that no political party had ever done like this before in the political history of the state. He also alleged that they also wanted to kill the police during the attack. The IT minister expressed grief that more than 40 policemen who were maintaining law and order had been injured which is unprecedented. Further, Amarnath opined that Naidu did not hesitate to sacrifice his party activists’ lives to return to power. He accused Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP national secretary Nara Lokesh of provoking violence because they would not win in the next general elections. The minister warned that the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government would not spare Naidu if he instigated violence. He appealed to the people of the state to take heed of these conspiracies hatched by Naidu on the pretext of visiting the irrigation projects.
