Durg: A meeting of DJ operators was held in the auditorium of Police Control Room, Bhilai. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha, a meeting of DJ operators was taken by Additional Superintendent of Police City, Sanjay Kumar Dhruv, in which SDM Deepak Nikunj, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Satish Thakur, City Superintendent of Police Bhilai Nagar Vishwa Deepak Tripathi, Police Station Incharge Supela Durgesh Sharma were present. Provide necessary information to the DJ operators regarding following the instructions issued by the Honorable Supreme Court of New Delhi and the High Court of Bilaspur under the Noise Pollution Regulation and Control Act 2000 and the instructions issued by the NGT.
All DJ operators have been clearly instructed that there will be a ban on playing loudspeakers and DJs from 10 pm to 6 am, there will be no sound of more than 60 decibels in any public place or private place. Be it any program, first of all, DJ or Dhumal should be operated only if there is permission from the concerned officer in charge. Also, permission will also be required for playing DJ or Dhumal in that program. In goods vehicles, do not take the DJ Dhumal out of the body of the vehicle. Do not use bright lights in vehicles with DJ Dhumal which may affect the eyes. There is a provision of fine up to ₹ 20000/- for violating these rules. Playing DJ Dhumal will be completely banned in the silent zone, such as schools, hospitals, court premises, old age homes etc., have been kept in this zone, clear instructions have been given not to play songs that spoil the religious atmosphere, boys playing DJ The rules like using ID card, playing DJ Dhumal without permission etc. were read to the DJ operators and made to sign so that in case of violation, action can be taken against the above mentioned DJ operators.
Important things like immediately informing the police in case of any untoward situation and taking photos and videos of mischievous elements and social elements who are spoiling the atmosphere and sending them to the police were told.
