Jalandhar: Accused arrested in snatching case, weapon recovered

Jalandhar: Phagwara police have arrested three members of a gang involved in a snatching incident that took place in Raja Garden Colony on December 22. Stolen items, including a gold chain, a motorcycle and weapons, have been recovered after the arrest.
Phagwara SP Rupinder Kaur Bhatti has identified the accused as Madhur Maggu alias Nannu, resident of Mohalla Beda in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Gurpreet Singh alias Gaurav, resident of Alachour and Aftab alias Saurav, resident of Shamshanghat Road in Phagwara.
The incident took place when Harjeet Kaur, a resident of Raja Garden Colony, was sitting outside the house of her neighbour Saroj Bangar. Two miscreants on a motorcycle approached her, snatched her gold chain at sharp-edged weapons and fled. A case has been registered based on her complaint.
