Jalandhar: Kabaddi league organised to keep youth away from addiction

Jalandhar: To eradicate the problem of drug abuse and bring the youth into the mainstream, the police under the leadership of SP Rupinder Kaur Bhatti launched a ‘police-public initiative’ to promote sports and keep the youth away from drug addiction. The state level Major League Kabaddi Championship was organized at Mauli village near Phagwara on Saturday. 10 players under the age of 14 participated in the championship. The team of Baba Budha Ramdas of Amritsar won the championship.
