Jalandhar: Utkarsh is the captain of the sub-junior hockey team, Charanjit is the vice-captain
Jalandhar: Utkarsh has been selected as the captain of the Punjab team participating in the 14th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men’s Hockey Championship to be held in Chandigarh. The Punjab team will play its first match against Karnataka on September 23. Hockey Punjab President Nitin Kohli and General Secretary Amrik Singh Powar said that Charanjit Singh has been made the vice-captain of the team. The players of the selected team include Gursahil Singh, Amandeep, Kushal Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Utkarsh, Sunny, Arshdeep Singh, Anurag Singh, Inderjit Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Charanjit Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Varinder Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Jashnpreet Singh, Mandeep Singh, Ajaypal Singh and Jeevan. Bittu Singhora is the coach of the team and Gurmeet Singh will be the manager.
