Jammu ADGP chairs security review meeting in Rajouri
Jammu (IANS) | Jammu Zone Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh on Thursday visited Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district to chair a security review meeting with senior police officers. Police said initially the SSPs of Rajouri and Poonch briefed them about the ongoing anti-militancy operations in their respective districts.
They also stressed on developing a credible intelligence base in the area, the police said in a statement. Special attention was paid to ensuring border security and maintaining close liaison with other security forces.
The Jammu Zone ADGP along with the DIG of Rajouri-Poonch Range and SSP of Rajouri also visited the Romeo Force Headquarters at Rajouri, where he held a meeting with the GOC Romeo Force.
