Jangaon: DMHO and junior assistant under ACB siege

Jangaon: Anti-corruption office (ACB) sleuths on Thursday arrested the district official medical and health (DMHO) and a junior assistant while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a pharmaceutical in Jangaon district.

DM and HO Dr. S. Prashant met K., a sub-contracted employee at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Obulakeshwapur. Sravathi, so that he can issue work orders at Raghunathpalli from time to time and process their salary bills pending from September 2023 onwards.

Unable to pay the money, Shravanti contacted the ACB, who laid a trap and caught the two. A case has been registered.
