Javed Ahmed Mattoo, wanted Hizbul terrorist carrying reward of Rs 5 lakh, arrested in Delhi

Delhi: Delhi Police Special Cell on Thursday captured a wanted Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist in the national capital. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Javed Ahmed Mattoo and had a reward of Rs 5 lakh on him.

According to Delhi Police Special Cell, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) team had launched a search operation to search for him.

Mattu, a resident of Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir, has also gone to Pakistan.

In a video that went viral on social media platforms ahead of Independence Day last year, Jave’s brother Raees Mattoo was seen waving the tricolor in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore. Mattoo was wanted in several terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir.
