Jharkhand: Along with education, skill development is also necessary: CM Hemant Soren

Today Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren participated in the inauguration program of Birsa Yojana and Employment Promotion Allowance/Transport Allowance under ‘Chief Minister Sarathi Yojana’. On this occasion, he said that in the coming days lakhs of youth of the state will get the benefit of this scheme. Many many best wishes and joy to everyone on this occasion. CM Hemant Soren said that under the Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana, lakhs of youth of Jharkhand are being provided skill training in Birsa centers and giving employment incentive allowance and transport allowance. Warm wishes and joy to all of you on this auspicious occasion.
CM further said that despite fighting Corona for two years, apart from providing government jobs to thousands of youths, more than twenty thousand youths were also handed over appointment letters for employment in private sectors. Skill training has an important role in today’s time. Along with education, skill development is very important. Earlier, a large number of youths used to go for jobs in the army, banks, railways etc. But due to the policies of the central government, it became difficult for the youth to get jobs in all these areas.
He further said that today many youths are moving towards self-employment leaving private jobs worth lakhs. Earlier he used to be an employee in some company, today he himself is the owner and is giving employment to others as well. Many villages and blocks in our state are in remote areas. That’s why we are opening skill centers in these blocks also. Along with this, you will also be given transport allowance for commuting to the skill center. CM said that earlier it was very difficult for the youth of Jharkhand to study abroad. Today we are sending youth from underprivileged classes abroad for higher education with 100% scholarship.
CM Hemant Soren further said that we have brought many welfare schemes for the youth of Jharkhand. Under the Guruji Student Credit Card, the government will give you a loan of up to 15 lakhs at very low interest. A provision has been made in the scheme that after 1 year of completing the studies, you will be able to start repaying the loan. You walk one step, the government will walk four steps with you. He further said that today many options are kept in front of the youth. We have done the work of connecting thousands of youth with self-employment under CMEGP. It is our thinking to benefit lakhs of youth by connecting them with this scheme. The CM said that I am sure that under the Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana, all of you youth will move forward by taking better skill training.
