Jharkhand: BJP points out defects in CM’s petition against ED action
Jharkhand’s politics these days is revolving around three issues. That is ED, action and petition. In the land scam case, ED has sent summons to CM Hemant Soren four times one after the other. Although the CM did not appear before the ED even once, he filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the ED action. CM did not get relief even from the Supreme Court and now CM has approached the High Court, but meanwhile BJP has accused the Chief Minister that there are 5 defects in the CM’s petition and the CM has deliberately filed the petition with defects so that this The matter can be put to rest. Chief Minister Hemant Soren had filed a petition in the Supreme Court and appealed to the Supreme Court to order the ED not to take coercive action.
It was in the CM’s petition that the ED has the right to arrest only during interrogation. Due to this, the person recording the statement remains in fear of arrest. The activities of ED are like an action to destabilize the elected government of the state. The petitioner should be told as to which alleged crime he is required to give evidence. The petitioner is being forced to join hands with the ruling party by threatening him with detention in a false case.

At the same time, now BJP is alleging that the Chief Minister has deliberately left a defect in the petition. This is a conspiracy to hang the case. Now JMM’s counterattack has come to the fore on BJP’s allegation. Where JMM says that BJP has developed Hemant phobia and there is lack of information among BJP leaders. JMM also claimed that people of BJP make unrestrained statements out of fear of the popularity of a popular Chief Minister.
ED’s relationship with the political atmosphere of Jharkhand is not new. Sometimes it is a case of illegal mining, sometimes army land scam and sometimes illegal buying and selling of land. The political temperature of the state always remains high on the action of ED, but the question arises that how did the heat of investigation reach the CM in the land scam case.
BJP has developed Hemant phobia – JMM
Actually, ED had conducted raids on 13 and 26 April in the land scam case. During a raid on April 13, a box was found in the house of revenue employee Bhanupratap. Apart from this, ED had raided 5 locations in Ranchi and Jamshedpur. During this period, a large number of documents related to purchase and sale of land were recovered. Till now many accused have been put behind the bars in the case. Prem Prakash and former Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan were also interrogated. After interrogating Prem Prakash, summons was also sent to CM Hemant Soren. Now if ED wants to interrogate state chief Hemant Soren, then there will definitely be politics. It remains to be seen whether the CM gets any relief on the matter from the High Court or not.
