Kajol reveals about Salman for ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’
Mumbai: As he turned 58 on Wednesday, filmmaker Karan Johar shared an anecdote about superstar Salman Khan and why he agreed to do his debut film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in 1998.
Karan took to Instagram to share a picture of Salman Khan as Aman from the romantic drama, which also stars Rani Mukherjee, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The filmmaker penned a heart-touching note to wish the ‘Dabangg’ star.
He wrote: “#25 years ago I was lost and confused at a party… A big film star came up to me and asked me why I was standing in a corner… I told him I was near many actors. I went.” The part but was politely rejected… The superstar’s sister is close to me so she politely said that she was very complimentary about my script and I should meet her the next day and tell her about the film.”
Karan said that at that time he had not even dreamed that he would get a chance to narrate.
Karan shared: “I went in with a prayer in my heart and a deep desire for a miracle and narrated the first half of the film as if my life depended on it… He looked at me at the interval point (by then I That’s what it looked like) I was in the Sahara desert and water could keep me alive) lovingly offered me water and said “I’m on!!!” I was shocked and said, “But you are a second.” In half, “Didn’t you hear?”
After this the filmmaker gave the reason why Salman did this film despite the film being in the second part.

The filmmaker then shared that he had the perfect Aman for the film.
“I am very grateful to Alvira and my father’s goodwill in ensuring that my first film has the perfect Aman and Salman Khan! These kinds of expressions and stories don’t happen these days!”
Wishing the star a happy birthday, he concluded: “Happy Birthday Salman! So much love and respect for you always…Also after 25 years, we will finally have a story to tell again…Can’t say anything else other than Happy Birthday.
