Katrina liked me in ‘Uri’, I liked her in ‘Zero’: Vicky Kaushal
Mumbai (IANS). Actor Vicky Kaushal, who is seen in ‘The Great Indian Family’, talked about actress Katrina Kaif’s film ‘Zero’. Vicky is extremely excited about his upcoming film ‘The Great Indian Family’, which is his first film with the Yash Raj banner.
The actor, who has shown his versatility with various roles so far, will be seen playing the role of a religious Hindu man from a small town in the film.
Vicky talked about his and wife Katrina’s favorite films.
Katrina has done many films for Yash Raj and this is Vicky’s first film with him. When asked if he had discussed it with him before signing the film, the actor said, “Yes, this discussion always happens for every film, no matter which studio it is associated with.”
Talking about each other’s favorite works, he said, “She likes me in difficult roles like Uri. I liked her in the film Zero. She was brilliant in that.”
Talking about his character Bhajan Kumar in the film ‘The Great Indian Family’, Vicky said, “Bhajan Kumar is a very honest person. He has the simplicity of a small town. The most special thing about him is that he loves his family. Love being the rockstar of the town.
‘The Great Indian Family’ is a comedy film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. It is produced by Aditya Chopra.
The film stars Vicky, Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Saadia Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Bhuvan Arora.
It is scheduled to release in theaters on September 22.
