Kavita Seth releases the song ‘Saavre Aayi Jaiyo’ telling the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna.
Mumbai (IANS). Singers Kanishk Seth and Kavita Seth have released the song “Saavre Aayi Jaiyo” that tells the eternal love story of Radha and Krishna.
The song marks the fourth collaboration between the famous mother-son duo after their previous hit ‘Rangi Saari’.
”Saavre Aayi Jaiyo” is a modern folk-oriented electro-pop song, which beautifully captures the essence of love and devotion. Showcasing the singing prowess of the mother-son duo, the song takes inspiration from the eternal Radha-Krishna tale.
The music video is an animation illustration, seamlessly blending ancient and modern art elements to portray the story of Radha serving her beloved Krishna. However, a twist comes when Radha and Krishna find themselves in different worlds.
The video shows Krishna playing his flute in animation, walking into the live action world, where Radha knows he is coming and she is waiting for him.
The animation in the music video is very fluid, dynamic and well shown.
Talking about the song, Kavita Seth said, “Folk music has a unique charm, which I have always admired. ‘Saaware Aayi Jaiyo’ is a song that has stuck in my mind over the years, and I thought it could be reimagined with a contemporary twist.”
He added, “Furthermore, I believe that the eternal love story of Lord Krishna and Radha is one of the most beautiful tales from our mythology, which is deeply connected with us as Indians. This song is for that eternal love story. I hope it will inspire the new generation to love with pure devotion.”

During the recording, I was very excited about Radha- I couldn’t stop myself from remembering the stories of Krishna which my mother Kavita Seth used to narrate to me.”
