Kharge, Rahul hold meeting with Congress leaders in Andhra regarding Lok Sabha elections
New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, party leader Rahul Gandhi and other central party leaders met Andhra Pradesh unit leaders to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The meeting comes amid a series of meetings of the Congress high command with state leaders ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Leading said, “The whole world believes that there has been a dramatic change in the ground situation after the formation of the government in Karnataka and Telangana. Kharge said, every leader and worker will work hard and restore the bond that the people of Andhra Pradesh once shared with the Congress party. Andhra Pradesh has 25 Lok Sabha seats, of which 22 are currently held by the Congress Party Yuvajana Sramika Rythu (YSRCP), while the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has three seats.
