Kidnapping of newborn, family inconsolable
Dantewada. An 18-day-old girl child was kidnapped in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. It is being told that a woman took the newborn away from the house. Police reached the spot after getting the information. Searched the CCTV footage of the surrounding area. This is the second child kidnapping incident in the district in the last 18 days. The case is of Bacheli police station area.
According to the information, Chhoti, a woman living in Gangupara of Railway Colony, went to fill water on Wednesday after putting her daughter to sleep at home. When she returned, she did not find her daughter. After this, she informed the people around. At the same time, the police was informed about the case. SP Gaurav Rai said that, in the investigation, the name of a woman named Ishu came up. Earlier also, Ishu had reached Chhoti’s house and asked to hand over the child to her. The police team in Jagdalpur has caught the woman. The girl has been recovered.
