KIMS Kalarabank Rural Hospital inaugurated
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed KIMS Kalarbank Rural Hospital in Cuttack district and launched Kalarbank Smart Village through video-conferencing.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that every person should do something for his village and his birthplace as he appreciated the efforts of Achyut Samant, founder of KIIT and KISS, who made every possible effort for his village and birthplace. Has dedicated himself to.
“Every life is valuable for us. This is our mantra in the health sector. The Odisha government aims to provide high quality healthcare services to the people of the state in collaboration with institutions like KIMS,” he said.
In his welcome address, Samant said, “It is the aim of the Chief Minister to provide urban facilities in every village and inspired by this, we have established KIMS Rural Hospital at Kalarbank. Construction of KIMS rural hospitals has also started at 19 other locations in Odisha. `Each hospital, to be built at a cost of Rs 50 crore, will have 100 beds.’
All types of urban amenities like primary schools, Kalinga English Medium School (Residential), Kalarbank High School (Residential), Plus II Higher Secondary School, parks, public libraries, ATM and locker facilities in nationalized banks, post office, police station, Kalarbank Spiritual center, community hall, drinking water facilities, temple, metalled roads, street lights, Mission Shakti Kendra have been provided in the smart village. Health insurance and Wi-Fi facilities have also been provided to the villagers.
