Kirti Kulhari and Jim Sarbh will act in ‘Sach is Life’
Mumbai. Harsh Mahadeshwar’s debut feature film ‘Such is Life’ will star Bollywood actress Kirti Kulhari and actor Jim Sarbh. Written and directed by music video veteran Harsh, ‘Sach Is Life’ is based on the real-life story of the Munshi family.
Variety reports that it’s the story of a couple who are determined to give their three-year-old son, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the life he truly deserves, regardless of his condition.
‘Such Is Life’ is produced by Romila Saraf Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt for New Jersey-based Red Bison Productions.
Principal photography of the film is scheduled to begin in April 2024, and will be shot in Kashmir, Delhi, New Orleans, New Jersey and New York.
Harsh said, “My primary goal is to translate the philosophical conflicts and worldview of the central characters into an honest feature for the screen.”
Keerthy said that the film will “highlight the power of unconditional love, celebrate the human spirit and forever hold on to that little thing called hope.”
The actress said that the producers are from America, but it is an Indian story. I am extremely excited to collaborate with a team from the US and work in an environment outside of India. I will try my best to make this a film that we can all be proud of.
Jim described the film as “a deeply moving and inspiring story of resilience, dedication and faith”. He said that nothing inspires me more than the story of a family coming together to help achieve their dreams. (IANS)
