Kolkata: In a one-of-a-kind gathering at the Brigade Parade Ground here, around 1 lakh people from various backgrounds collectively chanted the holy verses of the Bhagavad Gita.
Dressed in traditional attire, people from different age groups and social strata gathered at the iconic site and recited verses from the holy book along with the revered saints.
Reflecting on the event, BJP state president Sukant Majumdar commented, “Bhagavad Gita is India’s greatest gift to the world.
